L’Archivio Vitale nasce dal desiderio di custodire e condividere la storia di una famiglia che, dal 1905, intreccia moda, lavoro e territorio.
Ne fanno parte i registri originali del negozio, le immagini delle prime vetrine, gli abiti conservati, le testimonianze di chi ha vissuto la crescita di un’impresa divenuta parte della città.
Nel tempo, questa memoria è uscita dalle stanze private per incontrare il pubblico nelle mostre allestite nel suggestivo Chiosco di Santa Chiara, dove documenti, fotografie e oggetti raccontano il legame profondo tra tradizione e visione.
L’Archivio Vitale è un racconto che continua: attraverso la voce di chi c’era, come mio padre, un giovane di 92 anni che ancora oggi ne tramanda il senso e i ricordi.

Rosa and Martino Vitale started their business as entrepreneurs in the clothing industry in Belvedere Spinello. Their experience and passion, matured in the family's historic fabric workshop, were fundamental in embarking on this exciting new path. The attention to detail, the focus on stylistic evolutions, and the search for exclusivity and elegance immediately represent the characteristics that still form the basis of the Vitale family's entrepreneurial philosophy today.
Over the years, the operational space in Belvedere Spinello became too small and inadequate for Rosa's resourcefulness, stubbornness and enthusiasm, which convinced Martino to move to the nearby town of Crotone.
Thus begins the search for a location in which to realise an ambitious project, a store that wants to convey a true lifestyle concept. A prestigious new building in the centre of the city was identified and chosen, which is still home to the Vitale flagship store with its 350 square metres of floor space.
This adventure could not fail to involve the two daughters, Angela and Antonella, in the generational transition. Like any son of art, they took to the field after their studies to give the family business a new impetus. This effervescent dynamism immediately propelled them to prominent positions in the fashion world. Able to anticipate evolving trends and phenomena, to capture the energy and creativity of brands, they then began a close collaboration with the most prestigious Italian and international Pret a Porter brands. In the wake of the young and innovative spirit, in 1998 the historical boutique, Vitale 'Donna', was completely renovated.
Entirely feminine, the Vitale "Donna" world is integrated, in the wake of new challenges and corporate objectives, with the new shop dedicated exclusively to Men.
Thus was born the Vitale 'Uomo' store, a prestigious location in Via Firenze, opposite the historic boutique. The Vitale name now represents an icon of style, modernity and professionalism. This further strategic choice proves to be a winning one, immediately meeting with the approval of customers.
